Scoring and Objectives

Under construction!

Secondary Objectives

Bring it Down

  • Is a player allowed to redraw the “Bring it Down” secondary objective if it is drawn when no vehicles or monsters are present?

The Verdict: No. Unlike the “Assassination” card, which grants points for already-killed characters if none are still alive, “Bring it Down” inherently carries the risk that an army without any monsters or vehicles in it (or still alive within it) will be immune to being scored against via the card draw.

No other commentaries seem to have addressed this as of 03/2024, as the wording on the card is iron-clad and there are no conflicting rules from Games Workshop.

  • Is a player allowed to automatically score the “Bring it Down” secondary objective if it is drawn when no vehicles or monsters are present?

The Verdict: No. Unlike the “Assassination” card, which grants points for already-killed characters if none are still alive, “Bring it Down” does not retroactively reward having killed all monsters or vehicles within an army. This is likely because, unlike characters, vehicles and monsters are not obligatory to army construction in matched play.
